Rope Bondage Course - Transitions and Intense Floorwork

In this advanced course we move from dynamic suspensions to being able to play with more advanced forms of suspensions, including transitions - where we move from one suspension to another, widening the possibilities of playing with sensations, movement and aesthetics in the air. We also dive into more advanced, demanding and playful forms of floorwork and predicaments.   We go further into concepts like:   Intimacy and non-verbal communication through ropes Aesthetics and the beauty of rope bondage The dynamics of power and surrender Polarization and presence Consent and being confident in communicating your boundaries Body movement in ropes Safety and nerves     WHO IS THIS FOR This course is for you who can already do more dynamic suspensions, where the position of the person tied changes in-air, and who have learned to play with more intricate floorwork in a safe way. If everyone in the course speaks Danish, we will do that, otherwise we'll speak English.   Please note: You need to sign up as a couple, where one is being tied and the other ties, throughout the course. That’s because we want to prepare you for being able to do suspensions, which requires a certain level of technical understanding on how to tie and to be tied in a safe way.   If you want to join, but don’t have a rope partner, contact us and maybe we can help. PLACE House of Play, Shetlandsgade 3, 1, 2300 Copenhagen S   WHAT TO BRING Bring a least ten ropes of app. 8 meters x 6 mm, made from jute or hemp, plus a suspension ring and at least 3 carabiners. Wear clothes you feel comfortable in and that you can move freely in.   TICKETS The course includes ten classes. Couple ticket for members of House of Play: 2.890 kr. Couple ticket non-members: 3.400 kr. Low income/student ticket: 2.720 kr (please write to us on info@houseofplay.dk). Tickets are non-refundable, but we are glad to help you sell your ticket if you cannot participate anyway.   TEACHER Jac Fabian (he/him) is Copenhagen based and has many years of experience in Japanese Rope Bondage - Shibari/Kinbaku - and in teaching all levels from beginners to very advanced bondage classes, with a focus on presence, deep polarization and connection, dominance, surrender and aesthetics. He has learned from many of the best teachers in Japan and Europe and has been invited to perform in Tokyo, at The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen and many other places.
